Export trials and assessments quickly
With Release 3.0 we have already revised the trial list when starting smatrix. Now we have added another function: You can now also export a trial/assessment directly from the startscreen with just one click on the "Share-Button". This means that assessments can now be exported even faster and saved for further use.
Changing the order of traits
It has already been possible for some time to change the order of the columns - and therefore the traits to be recorded - in the trial table for trials and assessments created directly in smatrix.
This is now also possible for templates that you have imported into smatrix from trial management software such as ARM, piaf, PRISM or Easy Breed. This means that you can now also adjust the order of the traits in imported trials on-site as you need them for the respective evaluation. This makes your workflow easier, especially for large tables with a high number of traits. For example, you can check the population directly at the location of your assessment and then arrange the traits in smatrix in the order in which they occur most frequently in the population. This results in fewer jumps within the table in smatrix and a better overview if you want to look at the screen in between.
When re-importing into your trial management software, the order of the traits, including the recorded data, is then adapted to the order of the template again, ensuring a clear and error-free assignment in the structure of your trial management software.
